One of the things that make life worth living is the joy of winning; succeeding against the odds, achieving a tough goal, triumphing when for a while you thought you couldn’t make it.
Just remember that in every case of triumph, the seeds are sown with the poor odds, the peril, the adversity… because they must come first before triumph ever becomes possible.
Think back to those times when you had every right to throw your fist in the air affirming your courage and triumph, your win. When was the last time you did that? Still feels good doesn’t it!
Now look at any poor odds and any adversity in your current situation in a new light – as stepping stones to yet another triumph. You have succeeded before, and you can again!
Knowing you can do it, how can you pull triumph from the jaws of adversity?
“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal” Henry Ford.
