“Strange new light can be just as frightening as the dark”
Dolores Abernathy, Westworld Season 2.2
Did that hit you like it did me?
When I look back I see many things I regret not doing because I was scared, and in hindsight, I need not have been scared at all. I misjudged the consequences.
When we are looking at something new it can indeed seem like a ‘strange new light’ and the strangeness is frightening, even though it may be the way out of our current predicament which has become familiar, if not comfortable, over time.
Think of a change you have contemplated but didn’t make because you were afraid of the consequences.
Is it time to reconsider?
My best wishes, Paul
