I have heard it said that public speaking is, for many of us, our greatest fear. More scary than death or dentists!

And yet even if it is just 5 minutes at a meeting, you will need to do presentations, and how well you do them will have a great impact on how successful you are perceived to be.

One of the things that most people struggle with is how to structure a presentation. How to start, what to say and how to end.

For example, your introduction should include

  • Rapport building
  • Greeting and scene setting
  • Who you are and why you are here
  • What’s in it for the audience

Then there is the body of the presentation, and so on…

Alchemy – Structuring a presentation
