Most people would like to get better at something they do.
The first step to the next level of performance is usually gained by addressing what you have been avoiding.
So what are you avoiding that means you don’t get the results you want?
What barrier seems to be in the way that means you can ‘rationalise’ that avoidance? “I can’t do xyz because of [barrier].”
Shine some light on the barrier and decide if it is real, or just seems real to you. Ask others if they see the barrier and how they would go round it, climb over it, go through it.
Change the way you talk to yourself about it. Say “Despite the barrier, how can I do xyz?”
I will make a little prediction… When you undress the barrier and see it for what it is, you will discover that regardless of how it manifests ‘out there’, it is a belief you hold ‘in here’ that is disempowering you.
One way to deal with disempowering beliefs is to visualise success in the same way that great athletes do.
